Latest apparitions to Mirjana

Our Lady's message to Mirjana on September 2, 2006

The visionary Mirjana reported that Our Lady said the following:

"You know that we have been gathering for me to help you come to know the love of God."

She (Our Lady) then spoke about the future and said:

"I am gathering you under my motherly mantle to help you to come to know God's love and His greatness. My children, God is great. Great are His works. Do not deceive yourselves that you can do anything without Him. Not even to take a step, my children. Instead set out and witness His love! I am with you. Thank you."

Monthly apparition to Mirjana in Medjugorje - August 2, 2006

According to a report from pilgrimage guide Miki Musa, the monthly apparition to Mirjana took place on August 2, as usual, at the Cenacolo community in Medjugorje.

According to Miki: "The Youth Festival was opened last night, but the official program started this morning. Before the begining of the morning prayer and the morning program behind the Church, thousands of pilgrims came to Cenacolo to participate in Our Lady's apparition to Mirjana. I have never seen so many people over there."

Mirjana reported that Our Lady gave the following message: "Dear children! In these peaceless times I am coming to you to show you the way to peace. I love you with an immeasurable love and I desire for you to love each other and to see in everyone my Son – the immeasurable love. The way to peace leads solely and only through love. Give your hand to me, your mother, and permit me to lead you. I am the Queen of peace. Thank you."

Mirjana added: "Again, after a long time, I saw the sky opening and then a sign of a Cross, a heart and the sun."

Message to Mirjana - July 2, 2006

July 2, 2006 Message to Mirjana

This is the message that Our Lady gave to visionary Mirjana Soldo on July 2, 2006, during her monthly apparition.

"Dear children, God created you with free will to comprehend and to choose: Life or Death.

I as a mother, with motherly love, desire to help you to comprehend and to choose life. My children, do not deceive yourselves with false peace and false joy.

Permit me, my children, to show you the true way, the way that leads to life – my Son. Thank you."

Medjugorje Article by Sean Bloomfield - The Power That Preserves

“Do not forget, little child, that your life is as passing as a flower.”

—Our Lady of Medjugorje

The Power That Preserves
by Sean Patrick Bloomfield

As I get older, time seems to be gaining velocity. I try to catch moments but they so quickly become the past. Sometimes—for a fleeting instant—I can envision life from end to end, from infancy to old age. In that one powerful notion I am a baby cradled in my mother’s arms, seeing everything new and glistening, and I am a grey old man taking my last glimpse at a tired, foggy world, cradled in a woman’s arms once again, but this time they are my wife’s.

This vision is just imagination, not memory or premonition. Still, I often wonder if memory is restored at the moment of death, so that we might experience our lives from end to end.

I can only remember some facets of my life. Events both intense and mundane stand out. Stealing an antique key from a 2nd grade classroom, not because it might open something but because it was beautiful. Waking early to watch the sunrise with my grandfather. Kissing Lisa, who would become my wife, on a rickety dock as a hot wind gusted off the river. My first Confession in Medjugorje and how I felt as light as air afterwards.

I know little of death—but death, more than anything, has made a heavy impression on me.

After my first cat, Creole, died of a cancerous tumor that had swelled to the size of a fist, my father let me say goodbye one last time. I was seven years old. As I kissed Creole’s head, I was shocked to hear a strange, guttural wisp as if he was still breathing. I felt certain that Creole was alive, but my father told me it was only air escaping the lungs.

It was how things died, he said.

I watched dirt pile onto Creole’s rigid body as my father buried him in our backyard. The next morning, and on most mornings after that, I would wake to find a starkly white cat—one I had never seen before—sitting like a miniature lion on Creole’s gravesite. This went on for days, and then one morning the cat was gone and I never saw it again.

The logical part of my brain tells me that the mysterious cat was just a stray, albeit a beautiful one, who was only interested in the waning scent of death below. My heart, however, wants to believe that Creole was saying goodbye.

Regardless, Creole’s death would have likely faded from my memory by now had it not contained what to me, as a child, seemed a holy and mystical experience. Perhaps seeing God in something is what makes it truly last.

Polish poet Czeslaw Milosz wrote: “What power preserves what once was, if memory does not last? For I remember little. I remember so very little.”

Like Milosz, I remember little. But I do know a power that preserves. I’ve experienced quite a lot in my twenty-seven years on this planet, and I’ve been blessed with a mission that fulfills me: spreading the messages of the Virgin Mary at Medjugorje. These messages are given to a world that is breaking apart—both figuratively and literally—and to a misguided mankind that is plummeting away from God as fast as a falling angel.

Time is gaining velocity. Something bigger and more powerful than we can comprehend is about to happen. And I feel those poignant words of our Blessed Mother in my heart: “Your life is as passing as a flower.”

Apparition to Mirjana on June 2, 2006

Our Lady appeared to the visionary Mirjana this 2nd of June, 2006.

After the apparition, Mirjana shared with us the following:

"Our Lady did not give a message. She blessed all of us who were present and all the religious articles that we brought with us for blessing.

"With a serious expression on her face, Our Lady emphasized again the priestly blessing. With pain and love at the same time Our Lady said:

'Remember, children of mine, that is my Son blessing you. Do not accept it so lightly.'

"After that, Our Lady was telling me (Mirjana) about some things that are supposed to happen and she said:

'There is no way without my Son. Do not think that you will have peace and joy if you do not have Him in the first place.'

Mirjana said: "I cannot say that Our Lady was joyful. She was more like concerned (preoccupied), with the care on her face."

There were over 2,000 pilgrims at the Apparition. Some people say even over 3000.

The weather in Medjugorje during the apparition was like the weather in the middle of the winter. It was very cold and that's very strange for this time of the year (maximum 60 degrees).

*Information about this apparition was graciously provided by Medjugorje guide Miki Musa.

Medjugorje Message of May 25, 2006

"Dear children! Also today I call you to put into practice and to live my messages that I am giving you. Decide for holiness, little children, and think of heaven. Only in this way, will you have peace in your heart that no one will be able to destroy. Peace is a gift, which God gives you in prayer. Little children, seek and work with all your strength for peace to win in your hearts and in the world. Thank you for having responded to my call."
